The SUU Marketing Communication Office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work both independently and in a team, and the ability to write current, relevant content for a variety of channels including web, social and print. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get hands-on experience in public relations while developing their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop original content for the SUU News
- Write press releases and blog posts
- Conduct research and interviews
- Create and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of AP writing style
- Knowledge of SEO
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Attention to detail
- Dedication to quality
- Ability to multitask and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline driven environment
- Proactive self-starter
